
International Success For Mal!
A huge congratulations to Baildon Runner Michael Malyon who won the Trail Des Fleurs De Lys in the Pyrenees, France at weekend. Mal competed alongside fellow Baildon runners Lee Kasnowski, Dan Naylor and Pete Gallagher in the 26k trail race which involved over 5000ft of climbing overall. Mal completed the race in just over 2 and a half hours and won by over a minute. Toutes nos félicitations!

A Successful Weekend for Many!
Personal bests were smashed by many as Baildon runners competed in several races over the weekend including Tadcaster 10 Mile, Spen 10k and Beefy's Nab Fell Race. Mark Delaney, Nigel Shaw, Linda Carey and Jim Wheldon all managed to achieve new personal bests at the Tadcaster 10 mile. Andrew Price, Rob Myers and I all enjoyed running Beefy's Nab Fell Race with Rob finishing as first M60, Andrew finishing in 8th place and I finished in 5th. Others had a strong race at Spen 10k

Leeds Country Way Relay 2017
The Leeds Country Way Relay is an annual race which has been organised by Kippax Harriers, since the race was first established in 1990. The race comprises of 6 pairs of runners in each team, with each pair running a leg around the actual LCW route. Baildon runners entered two mixed teams into the relay, Team A and Team B. Both teams success with Team A finishing 13th overall in 8 hours 26 minutes and 51 seconds and Team B finishing in 10 hours 46 minutes and 17 seconds in 41
