Jane pushes boundaries in the Bradford Half Marathon 2017

Well done to all of the Baildon runners who competed in the Bradford city races. Based upon a 5K loop of Bradford city centre, the course takes in City Park, Bradford University, the Broadway and Little Germany. One lap gets you 5K, two gets you 10K and 4 (and an extra bit) gets you a half marathon.

I was pleased to achieved my first sub 1 hour 30 min half marathon with the help of Lee who was my pacer for most of the race... before beating me.Nigel Shaw also managed a new PB not long after his marathon PB finishing in 1:38:45.

A special mention has to go to Jane Adams who, with the help from her brother Edward ran her first half marathon having never ran the distance before finishing in 2:22:32. Well done Jane! A great achievement!
