Baildon Canter 2018

Another successful well attended and well supported canter thanks to the helpers and runners!

The sun shone (dare I say a little too much for the senior race) and the runners turned out once again in spite of the competing events happening elsewhere –namely the world cup match. I was so worried that the numbers would be down this year.

So many members helped set up in the morning, helped with the junior race and had run the summer Parkrun champ race that morning- but still turned up to race the canter. We had 69 entries which is only one down on last year.

At the end of the day, a good time was had by all! Next year let’s try and make it to one hundred entries... then I can retire!
